Did you know that over 37 million Americans carry student debt? In 2010, student loan debt reached $830 billion, which eclipsed credit card debt by nearly $5 billion. Since the economic recession, many families have faced debilitating financial circumstances. To add insult to injury, tuition costs continue to rise even as government aid declines.
