For two people who are so smart, how can we be so stupid? I understand the flack you get from this choice, since we're getting the same. However, you're probably dramatically shortening the length of your loan. If we drop back down to the stated payment on my loan, we'll have reduced the term from 20 years to 12 when all is said and done.
